If you wish to donate your time, feed or supplies, please contact us to make arrangements for pick up or delivery. At this time there are no other active ciurt cases we are aware of, but your help is still needed. You might be asking, why another agency when there are already several non-profits in place? I figure that one more voice out in the world educating people is one more resource than before. We are considering whether or not to form a 501C3 as a type of clearinghouse for resources, which would enable us to offer tax deductable receipts for any donations, or simply continue to direct you to those agencies already in place. We'd be happy to talk with any serious like-minded people about it.
How many times have you seen animals in need, but hesitated to say or do anything about it?

Don't feel alone.  Many of these abusers also abuse the humans they come in contact with.  This is the case with Charlie Johnson. He thinks that intimidation tactics will get everyone to back off his case so he can go about his merry way any way he chooses. This man knows no respect or decency if this is the manner he conducts himself when he is faced with his own actions.

Here are some photos showing his retaliation tactics toward people reporting his treatment of animals.  These derelict trailers were placed at the back fence in my yard. I guess it was supposed to scare me.

Huh?

This sort of intimidation should not ever be tolerated. Whether verbal or physical, nobody has the right to frighten people into silence.  This is no longer the wild west. It is 2010 folks, time to get moving with fairness and justice for all.

Some of you may think I've gone overboard with this site, you may think I've got a personal grudge against Charlie Johnson. That is not true. When I first moved here, I spoke with him as a neighbor. Then I saw the truth through his actions. I've said many times that all he had to do was feed those animals and I'd have no problem with him. I would have said and done the same had it been anyone else.

If you know of animal abuse or neglect in Oklahoma, please contact us.  Having been through it, we can guide you through the process. The ultimate goal is to have the horses taken care of and to avoid any legal action. It is our opinion that the law should be involved as a last resort in cases where the owners are unwilling to take better care of their animals. We can provide you with support and the resources needed to ensure appropriate handling of your concerns. Your personal information will be kept confidential at all times.
Here are some links I've found that show the situation in horse country all over the U.S.  We're having an epidemic. So many of these creatures are in need, and help is needed. Education is the key. Feel free to share links with us.
